Profession: Retired Nurse Practioner, Student of Spanish.
Teaching Experience: I have a City and Guilds teaching adults qualification and I completed a TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language) course last year.
I have taught nurses and paramedics at the University of Hull as a casual lecturer.
I now teach beginners Spanish to a small group of students.
Interests: Hi, I love animals and enjoy walking my dog in the beautiful English countryside around where I live.
I am very interested in other languages and cultures and I have studied Spanish for four years.
I am fascinated by history and often visit historic places such as York.
My favourite programme on TV is 'Game of Thrones' even though it is a bit gory!
Education: I studied for a BSc (Hons) at University of Hull in Autonomous Practice (a Nurse Practitioner Degree).
I studied Spanish at Instituto de Cervantes in Leeds and Malaga and have B1 DELE (Diploma de Español Como Lengua Extranjera) and I am currently studying for my B2 DELE
