Experiência de ensino: I have worked in public education in the United States for close to twenty years. In that time, I have taught Spanish, world and American history, and research skills. As the head librarian at a large public high school, I work with a large number of classes and students daily, particularly in the areas of English and social science.
I also have experience teaching English language learners, something that I enjoy a great deal. In the last three years, I have worked closely with ELL students from Asia, Europe and the Middle East.
Interesses: Honestly, I have too many interests to list! A number of my interests include the following: reading and learning new things; traveling; music and film; languages; world cultures; history; anything related to Spain, Latin America or Italy; education.
I am also enjoy being active and enjoy the outdoors a great deal. Among my passions are hiking, camping, road cycling, snowboarding and paddle boarding. I played ice hockey for 30+ years, but I've decided to move on from that activity in favor of other pursuits.
