Profession: English Teacher
Teaching Experience: In high school and college I taught music at other local schools and youth clubs.
I completed a 120 hour TEFL course in 2016.
In February 2017 I taught English to beginners of mixed ages in a private school in Nicaragua for 4 months.
I then moved to Bogota, Colombia teaching Business and Tourism students in University as well as visiting law firms teaching Legal English and doing private classes aswell.
Interests: Music is my biggest passion. I make music, DJ, collect records and spent countless hours studying it's history and evolution. If I went deaf, I'd seriously consider suicide!
I'm pretty adventurous - I love going for walks and exploring and have recently been backpacking in Latin America.
I also love film, art and literature and I like to write.
I'm very social - I love talking to people, learning from their stories and gaining fresh insights. I’m also very inquisitive, always open to learning and trying to understand how things work.
My favourite topics of discussion are music, film, literature, philosophy and politics.
Education: I went to Fitzalan High School in my hometown Cardiff, Wales. Here I obtained nine GCSE's including English (A), Triple Science (B), Maths (C) and an EDEXL Award in Digital Applications (Level 2). I then went on to obtain three ‘A’ levels in English (A), History (B) and Biology (D) and Welsh Baccalaureate. For my higher education I completed a 3-year BSc(Hon) course in Sound Technology with a 2.1 grade at The University of South Wales.
