Profession: Speech and Language Therapist
Teaching Experience: I studied Speech and Language Therapy at University College London for 4 years and graduated with a BSC in 2012. I have spent the last four and a half years supporting children from 0-18 years old to develop adequate skills in using accurate speech sounds, language and communication skills. I have extensive experience in teaching parents, carers, health visitors, nursery practitioners etc in identifying and supporting children with speech and language difficulties. Through my job working in London I work with mainly bilingual families and therefore have experience in communicating with people where English is not their first language.
Interests: Dance (tap, jazz, ballet, lyrical), drama and theatre, diving, surfing, skiing, hiking, travelling, meeting new people, reading, spending time with family and friends, eating in good resturants!
Education: I attended a Grammar school in Northern Ireland. I achieved 3 A*, 5 As and 1 B at GCSE level. I then studied Religious Studies, Drama and Theatre Studies, English Literature and Biology at A-level and achieved 4 As. I then graduated from University College London with a 2:1 in Speech and Language Therapy.
