Teaching Experience: For two years I was a Mormon missionary in Brazil, so I spent my time teaching about Jesus and the church's doctrines and such. Interspersed in there were a few English classes I slapped together with a couple of other American missionaries. The teaching wasn't particularly formal or super structured, and consisted mostly of conversation. We tried to get to know people and what they valued and desired, and tried to show how the gospel could help. I'm not eager to be a religious teacher ever again, but the basic teaching and conversational skills I gained from my missionary experience were valuable.
Interests: I enjoy film, photography, food, sports (soccer, football, basketball), and the outdoors. I love to travel, too.
Education: I am about to graduate from Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah with a bachelor's degree in media arts studies. I'm a film guy.
Spoken Languages: English (Native), Portuguese (Fluent)
