Profession: English Teacher
Teaching Experience: I was a high school Spanish teacher before moving to Guayaquil, Ecuador in 2017. I now teach high school English to students ages 13-18. I facilitate an extra English course outside of my classroom hours for student's focusing on improving their English to study in the United States.
Interests: I am very interested in traveling and learning about other cultures. One of my favorite things is meeting new people and learning more about them. I enjoy learning about history and about politics. I also love the outdoors and hiking with my dog. I am very passionate about immigration and social justice. In my free time I like to play volleyball, read, write and take pictures.
Education: I graduated with my Bachelor of Arts from Austin Peay State University in Clarksville, Tennessee. I majored in Foreign Languages with a concentration in Spanish, and minored in Latin America Studies.
