Teaching Experience: I have served as both a formal and informal educator to students ranging from 1st grade to young professionals. Some subjects that I have taught include ESL, Math, Global Perspectives, Academic and Narrative Writing, and College Counseling.
My ability to work as a mentor and educator outside of the classroom setting gives me the experiance needed to teach through informal conversation in a way that promotes learning without coming off as lectury.
Interests: I have a wide variety of interests that can lead me to hold a conversation on a wide variety of topics. Some examples include:
Sports: American Football, Baseball, Basketball, Rugby
Travel: I have been to over 13 countries and have lived on 3 continents
Food: Eating and Cooking ;)
Politics: Both American and International...and yes I have a view on Donald Trump
Culture: I can act as a great primer and resource on American culture for this looking to move to the USA or who simply want to learn more.
Education: I graduated American University with a Bachelor of Arts in International Studies and Jewish Studies. Following graduation, I received my TESOL from ITT and have supplementary certification from World teach and the US Department of State.
