Profession: English as a Second Language Teacher/PhD student
Teaching Experience: 20 years working with students abroad and in the USA from ages 12 to 60. University and TOEFL preparation classes and tutoring executives. I specialize in teaching Pronunciation, Intonation and Accent Reduction. I also have a lot of experience teaching composition and reading.
Interests: Traveling, reading, movies, getting to know other cultures, human trafficking, sexual abuse, international social work, criminology. I am interested in many areas and enjoy learning about other people's jobs, hobbies and cultures. I like to talk about food, cooking and exercise.
Education: I have a master's degree in teaching foreign languages with an ESL endorsement from the University of Nebraska Lincoln. I am also currently working on my PhD in Developmental Sciences at the University of Nebraska Lincoln.
My bachelor's degree is in counseling Psychology.
