Profession: English Language Teacher
Teaching Experience: I worked at POLY Returnee Education Institute in South Korea from September 2016 to June 2017 as an English Language Instructor. My responsibilities included leading kindergarten and elementary aged students through American curriculum, teaching Language Arts, Math, Art, Debate, and Social Studies in an ESL classroom, designing individualized lesson plans to address the needs of students with a wide range of skills and personalities, and proctoring and evaluating assessments, using them to adjust the direction and pace of classroom instruction.
I worked atHess International Educational Group in Taiwan and South Korea from July 2013 – August 2016 as a Native Speaking ESL Teacher. My responsibilities included: instructing students ages 3-17 in reading, writing, listening, and speaking in English in a classroom environment, preparing lessons and activities that focused on a well-rounded style of learning, writing, choreographing, and producing performances that displayed the growth and knowledge students gained in the classroom for their parents and community to see, assisting in preparing students for a wide range of English aptitude tests and competitions.

Education: I graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Georgia in 2013 with a B.A. in Sociology and a minor in Religion. I am currently pursuing a Masters in Multilingual Education with a TESOL emphasis at University of Northern Colorado.
