Profession: Classroom Teacher- Music, Online English Educator, current Graduate student in Ethnomusicology
Teaching Experience: I have been informally teaching music lessons since I was in high school, however, I have one year of online English teaching experience, seven years of classroom teaching experience, ten years of private lesson experience. I have worked with students of every learning style and I incorporate that into my lessons, ensuring that I engage students of all learning styles. I am very patient, yet engaging and excited teacher. I also teach to the specific needs of my students, so I tailor my lessons to fit just that. I LOVE teaching and it is truly a passion of mine!
Interests: I love everything involving music. I currently play eight instruments. The eight instruments I play are flute, trumpet, trombone, baritone, tuba, piano, guitar, and I also sing. The trombone is my major instrument. I also love singing and creating original music as well. In my spare time, I love to watch movies, reading novels, being with my family, performing, and walking through nature.
Education: I graduated with my Bachelors degree from South Carolina State University in Music Education with a minor in Drama. I am currently working towards my Master of Arts degree in Ethnomusicology.
