Profession: Adult English as a Second Language Teacher
Teaching Experience: I've been teaching English professionally and through volunteer work for four years. I have experience with all levels of students, from basic to advanced, and with ages from teenagers to older adults. All my classes are conversation and discussion driven, and I particularly enjoy teaching speech and pronunciation.
Interests: I love listening to, talking about, and finding new music in every genre. I also enjoy playing and writing music. My interests are generally creative, whether that's within music, or the visual arts. I also enjoy following a couple television series and learning/researching language.
Education: Most recently, I graduated from the University of Texas at Arlington with my MA in Linguistics with a graduate certification in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages. Before that, I completed my BA in Speech Communications with minors in Spanish and English, while studying at the University of Arkansas at Monticello.
Spoken Languages: English (Native), Spanish (Conversational), French (Basic)
