Teaching Experience: I taught classes at a summer camp in San Francisco for 7 summers. I created my own lesson plans and executed them in my classroom. This ranged from arts, crafts, rock climbing, swimming, math and reading. During university I was an America Reads tutor. This was created due to Bill Clinton's literacy campaign. I offered tutoring to low income elementary schools in Santa Barbara. I also worked as a Teacher's Assistant in a Kindergarten classroom as an America Reads Tutor. I was able to assess students and work with them one on one on a daily basis to help them improve their math and reading skills.
Interests: I love volunteering and giving back to my community. I volunteer in organizations that provide free medical care, food and shelter the underserved and working poor in my community. When I am not volunteering, I enjoy exploring and discovering new places and gems in my city. I love to travel, learn about different cultures, run, hike, do yoga, dance and laugh.
Education: I went to the University of California in Santa Barbara and graduated with a bachelor's in biopsychology.
