Profession: Veterinarian Assistant, Equine Massage Therapist.
Expérience d'enseignement: Two and a half years of teaching English to second language students. I have completed my Cambridge TKT (teacher knowledge training) and scored well in the third tier. I have completed a 40 hour TEFL course to supplement my teaching.
Intérêts: I am an outdoor orientated person, I live in the country and have many animals on my property. I love nothing more than spending time outdoors hiking, riding horses or having coffee and reading under a gorgeous tree. I love learning about people and cultures and have traveled all over South Africa experiencing new people, food, animals, ecosystems and languages. I also have a passion for History, particularly the second world war - I have many books about the heroes that the war created as well as the mechanical and medical advanced that were invented at the time.
I am an Equine Sports Massage Therapist and I love working with animals, especially horses. I have been riding horses for 16 years, and have been very fortunate to compete in Dressage and Showjumping. In the mornings I work as an assistant to a horse (equine) veterinarian, this is fascinating work and I learn something new every day. I have also taught English for two and a half years, and loved every moment. I enjoy teaching as I find it very rewarding to help students form a love for a new language.
Éducation: I completed High school and then took a gap year where I worked at a horse breeding farm for a year. I then completed various short course in the equine field and then went on to complete my Equine Body Worker certification. Whilst studying my EBWC I taught at Education First, there I completed a 40 TEFL course, as well as a TKT course through Cambridge.
