Profession: Current profession, English teacher in Vietnam. Previous profession, Social worker, supporting vulnerable young people and adults.
Teaching Experience: I have years of experience working with adults, young people and children. In my profession as a Social worker for 4 years much of my teaching was one to one. I would support people with difficulties they were facing. I would build good relationships through speaking with people about all aspects of their lives, and help them make changes to have a positive life moving forward. Currently I am an English teacher, I teach mainly primary and secondary students. I have been doing this for 6 months.
Interests: My main passions are for photography, writing poems and short stories. I currently live in Asia. I have a deep passion for meeting new people and for my work as an English teacher. I love to talk about life, understand new cultures, learn from others and to stay happy and positive.
I am a reader of fiction novels, and I enjoy to research music, with my favourite being Jazz. Watching live music is an important part of my life. I like to be active with rock climbing and surfing too.
Education: Bachelor of Science in Social Work from the University of Gloucestershire.
Completion of the 120 Premier TEFL course, certificate in Teaching English as a Foreign language.
