Profession: Scientist, Biologist, Teacher, Inspirer
Teaching Experience: I taught primary and secondary school children about genetics and DNA when I lived in Ireland in 2014. Additionally, I used to teach dog handling to children and teenagers through my local animal shelter. I will also be starting an English Teaching position this October in Spain and will therefore be working toward a TEFL certificate this summer.
Interests: bouldering/rock climbing, art (drawing, painting, sculpting, woodwork), playing the piano, travelling, roller-coasters/amusement parks, listening to music (all genres!), listening to live music, trying new food, talking with friends, running/exercise, reading (The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo is my favorite, and I love all genres of books), movies (dramas, rom-coms, independent, action, animated, anime), TV shows (dramas, crime, dystopia).
Education: In 2017 I graduated from University of California, Davis with a Bachelor of Science in Animal Science and a minor degree in psychology. My minor I completed during a semester abroad in Ireland. Through my Animal Science degree, I specialized in reproductive biology and genetics.
