Profession: Graduate Student, ESL online teacher
Teaching Experience: I absolutely love teaching! I was a chemistry tutor during my undergraduate years. In medical school, I tutored medical students in various subjects and I taught pharmacology labs. I volunteered for a year tutoring kids K-8. I spent a year as a pathology resident, and during this time I taught medical students pathology, and gave numerous educational lectures and presentations to fellow residents and physicians. I have been working as an online ESL tutor since Oct 2017.
Interests: I love science, math, cooking, baking, running, yoga, hiking, kickboxing, reading, traveling, learning about different cultures, trying new restaurants and cuisines, playing with my dogs, reading, painting, crocheting, making crafts, watching movies, and learning new things!
Education: I received a BS in Biochemistry from La Sierra University in CA, and an MD from Loma Linda School of Medicine in CA. I am working towards a PhD in neuroscience at the University of Texas, Dallas. My ultimate goal is to become a professor of neuroscience!
