Profession: Student of French and Spanish
Teaching Experience: I am an English assistant in two French schools for my year abroad. I help students who are mixed ability (from some having great difficulties due to dyslexia to some being reasonably fluent without many issues.) I help students mainly with their oral skills (pronunciation, conversation, discussion) but also help with writing, reading and listening too. I take classes every week and do fun activities to help them improve their English language skills and understanding of British culture.
Interests: I have interests in different cultures - at university I have studied French history, politics and culture and the same for Spanish history, politics and culture. I love watching films and television series too - I am a huge fan of all the big ones (lots of conversation topics.) I also in the future would love to travel more but I have travelled to Spain, France, Germany and Switzerland.
Education: I went to school in the North East of England, I have got 10 GCSE's in English, English Literature, Maths, Science, Religious Education, Physical Education, History, Geography, French and Technology. I have 3 A levels in English Literature, French and Religious Studies and I am currently a student at Newcastle University where I study French and Spanish.
Spoken Languages: English (Native), French (Fluent), Spanish (Basic)
