Profession: Teacher, Actress, Dog sitter, Writer
Teaching Experience: I used to teach elementary school students ages 6 through 12 how to play the piano. Class size is from 8 to 28 and ran from 8 to 20 weeks. This is was an Enrichment Class held at Los Angeles Unified School District schools.
I taught at my children's schools, elementary and middle levels mainly with their plays and science projects. I helped direct their Spring Musicals and Fall Plays. I also volunteered whenever possible and chaperoned on field trips.
I tutored English from my home to people who were looking to improve English as a Second Language. Some of my students came from the Czech Republic, Russia, and all over South America.
Interests: My interests are varied and wide since I have such eclectic taste: movies, computers, dogs, animals, shopping, caregiving, documentaries, music, family, holidays, and so much more. I'm an information sponge and love learning things. I find I'm able to converse with most people on a variety of subjects.
Education: I was an English teacher's aide in High School. I was an English major in College and got my degree in Theatre at The American Academy of Dramatic Arts in New York City. I took an online TESOL class to get my certificate of completion.
I have been teaching seniors at a local assisted living facility how to use computers as well as lead a weekly discussion group. Needless to say, it is a well-attended, lively discussion group on current and relevant topics.
