Expérience d'enseignement: I have experience teaching my younger brothers proper English because they are teenagers and like to speak 'slang'. I am a good speller so I show them how to determine the difference between different words that sounds the same but are spelled differently and have different meanings. For example, 'Through', 'thru', and 'threw'.
Aside from English, I have tutored students in dance and French.
Intérêts: I love to explore life in any way I can. So, if you have any interesting hobbies that you would like to share with me, I am more than willing to try it- as long as I am not putting myself in danger!
A few of my favorite hobbies are hiking, dancing, bike riding, enjoying the sound of the waves at the beach, and looking up French and Spanish music. I also like looking up psychological experiments. Yes, I'm a nerd!
Éducation: I currently attend a community college in Los Angeles and have completed and passed all of the required English courses. To challenge myself I even took a critical thinking English class that was focused on persuasive papers, which meant we had debates almost every class meeting. That class helped me develop strong grammar skills and essay organization because the student learning outcome for that class was to be able to write a 10 page persuasive research paper. We all know research papers have to be perfect or people will not believe the source to be credible.
In terms of general education, this June I am graduating with two A.A.s. One is going to be in Natural Science because I was originally a Nursing major and I fulfilled all of the requirements for that degree. My other A.A. is going to be in Psychology.
I am currently working on a dual major in Psychology and Linguistics.
