Profession: Charity Programme Officer
Teaching Experience: I spent a year teaching English as a foreign language in Nicaragua to a mixture of adults and children. I also have experience teaching university students, presenting at conferences and running workshops as part of my academic career. In addition to my experience in presenting and teaching, I have published several academic papers and texts
Interests: I have worked in the international development sector for almost 10 years and I really enjoy meeting people from different nationalities and cultures. I have lived, worked and travelled in Latin America and Africa and have also travelled in South East Asia. In my recent work I have developed skills in monitoring and evaluation of development projects. I enjoy reading and photography in my spare time.
Education: I have a PhD in Development Studies and a Masters in Development and Emergency Practice. I also studied Architecture at undergraduate and postgraduate level. I have completed the CELTA teaching English qualification.
