Profession: English Teacher / Mechanical Engineer
Teaching Experience: I currently teach English at a private institute in Argentina to mostly teenage students (15-18 years old).
I also give private speaking and business English to adults. I have a year of experience working in career advising at a university so I can help with interview preparation in English as well as anything job or career related.
Interests: Language learning, food, science and technology, world affairs / politics, engineering, culture, mountains (skiing/running/biking/hiking), bike travel (I have cycled from Canada to Mexico as well as through Colombia and Ecuador).
I am currently learning Spanish, so I know how it feels to struggle to learn a language.
Education: I have a Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering (with a minor in math) from the University of Vermont in Burlington, VT, USA.
I also have a CELTA certification to teach English, which is an internationally recognized certification provided by the Cambridge University in England. I took my CELTA course through International House in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
Spoken Languages: English (Native), Spanish (Conversational)
