Esperienza di insegnamento: In 2003 I graduated with a bachelor's degree in history and
linguistics from a major US university (I am a US citizen), after
which I taught Business English in Germany, the Netherlands and
Thailand for over 6 years. In 2011 I earned a 120-hour classroom-based
observed TEFL from TEFL International. I subsequently went on to
receive a TEFL-C (for young learners) from Colombia University and
teach in Chengdu, China, for Disney English, successfully completing
two 1-year contracts from December 2011 until December 2013.
In 2014 and 2015 I taught SANG at ELTS and the Aviation Heliport for
Vinnell Arabia in Saudi Arabia. More recently I have been developing
an online teaching platform and associated curriculum, which operates mainly in Ecuador and Peru. In
addition, I have experience teaching for over 13 years on 4 continents
in 8 different countries, including the USA, Germany, the Netherlands,
Thailand, China, Saudi Arabia, Ecuador and Peru.

Interessi: I enjoy a wide variety of topics and activities, such as (but by no means limited to) history, anthropology, culture, archaeology, linguistics, politics, business, government, art, literature, science, technology, philosophy, ethics, spirituality, fitness, martial arts, travel, mountaineering, surfing, carnival (I am from New Orleans, after all), and much else besides.
