Teaching Experience: I taught for three and a half years in Arizona. I taught Kindergarten my first year, and the majority of that class were ELL students with Spanish being the language spoken at home. I taught 7th and 8th grade science and math my second year, including one class of ELL for math. I taught one semester as a math specialist using small group instruction with at risk students, and the following year worked with that school as the main 7th and 8th grade math teacher. There were also ELL students in these classes. In Lebanon, my husband and I are in charge of teams, and work with many language learners of primarily Arabic and Chinese language backgrounds. We run trainings, and also teach language acquisition skills to English, Chinese, and Dutch speakers attempting to learn Arabic.
Interests: I have a passion for reading. I live in Lebanon in the Middle East. I love travelling, and have been to Cyprus, London, Greece, and Rome. I also love my home country America, and taking road trips there. My favorite states are North Carolina, Utah, and Arizona. I love science and math, especially chemistry, physics, and calculus. I love kids, and have two toddlers of my own. I play video games and also host gatherings for food and fun.
Education: I attended Northern Arizona University for my Bachelor's in Education and my Master's in Administration. I am currently attending Rutgers University online for a second Master's in Library Science and Information Technology.
