Profession: Student - Master of Speech Pathology
Teaching Experience: In university, I tutored international students in English and advised on writing assignments.
I took courses in TESOL and educational psychology because I was interested in teaching.
I taught English in Malaysia for 1 year, and I currently have ongoing online tutoring classes.
I have the following teaching experiences:
- class of beginner to low-intermediate adult learners (grammar, conversation)
- class of beginner students (ages 6-12)
- 1-on-1 tutoring to an intermediate level adult learner (reading, writing and grammar)
- 1-on-1 tutoring to ESL international high school students (grammar, writing and speaking)
As part of speech pathology, I have experience with the International Phonetic Alphabet (IPA) (American and Australian pronunciations).
Interests: I enjoy cooking, trying new foods, and learning about different cultures.
