Profession: English as a Second Language Teacher, Massage Therapist
Teaching Experience: I taught adults from all over the world (but mostly South American countries) at an Adult Education facility in CT. Our intention was to give people 'survival skills' - meaning we helped people learn how to function day to day assisting them in how to communicate their daily needs and function in the U.S. I also taught in Ecuador (where I still live) at a school that focused on helping students pass the PET and FCE. I currently have a few students I tutor. I love teaching!
Interests: I used to train horses so of course still love them, I was a fused glass artist for many years and still create when I can. I love to garden and hike, I love Baroque music - okay, I love a lot of different kinds of music but I find that Baroque touches me like non-other. I love to kayak.....all sorts of outdoor activities appeal to me. I also love to read. Oh, I'm a meditator (not a real word) and I practice yoga as well.
Education: I studied Wildlife Management at Humboldt State University but my degrees are in Massage Therapy - from South West Instituted of Healing Arts and Teaching English as a Foreign Language from the International TEFL Academy based in Chicago Illinois
Spoken Languages: English (Native), Spanish (Basic)
