Aaron Goldstein

Profession: Student, Musician

Teaching Experience: I have taught some private guitar lessons over the last few years. I have also taught two semesters of hands-on science lessons to middle school students in my town.

I also consider my time travelling and learning from my international friends in university to be both a learning and teaching experience. I have a lot of experience changing my level and style of speech to help with the understanding between language partners.

Interests: Perhaps my three greatest interests are language, music, and cuisine!

I study Arabic music in University, and play guitar, violin, an Arabic lute (called oud), a Chinese violin (called erhu), and some piano. I speak at a B1 level in formal Arabic and the Moroccan Arabic dialect of Darija, and between traveling and my many international friends at university, I've learned how to say "thank you" in 18 languages!

I am a very easy-going teacher and I look forward to sharing my time with you!

Education: I have just finished my fourth year of undergraduate study at the University of William and Mary in Williamsburg, VA! I will be returning in the Fall to complete my fifth year and obtain my undergraduate degree in music, with a focus on songwriting and Arabic music.

Spoken Languages: English (Native), Arabic (Fluent)
