Profession: English as an Additional Language (EAL) Teacher
English Language Instruction
I work as an EAL teacher for upper elementary age students at a leading international school.
Interests: Hello everyone! I'm an EAL teacher who also has a background in language interventions. I know what it's like to learn another language and how to use your first language to help you learn English - I speak Thai, French, and some Spanish. My students say the best part of my classes is the environment because it makes them feel confident to speak English even if they are very shy.
In addition to teaching English, I have taught social studies at the high school and college levels. Additionally, I have taught high school French and Spanish in New York.
I love to travel and connect with people from different cultures. My hometown is very small and in the mountains in New York. However, I've also spent many a lot of time living outside of the United States in both Asia and Europe. I have a lot of experience helping people from Japan, Korea, China, and Thailand to practice speaking English.
I look forward to meeting you and talking together.
