Profession: English Language Assistant in Mexico City - British Council
Taught secondary school children, focusing on topics such as grammar, culture and increasing one's confidence whilst speaking. I encouraged a holistic approach in order to expand the knowledge and skill set of my students.
Teaching Experience: I have taught both Secondary School children, as well as adults. Most importantly I can tailor our conversation to suit your needs, whether you are a beginner who only knows the basics of English, at intermediate level wanting to reach the next stage in your language journey, or you are advanced and want to perfect elements of English grammar and idioms. I am a patient teacher, and an excellent listener, looking forward to helping you on your English language journey.
Interests: I love to stay fit and active, and I am constantly looking to learn new and interesting things. I love to play football, swim and I have recently started cross country running as a way to improve my stamina (and more importantly get out of the house, as lock-down and the lovely British winter weather has meant I have spent most of the time indoors.) Apart from sport I spend a lot of time reading (books on Philosophy, fiction and history) as well as gardening, cooking and DIY.
Education: BA (Hons) in English Literature, History and Spanish - University of Sheffield
