Worked as a seismic geophysicist for 23 years in the oil and gas industry

Experiência de ensino: I worked for an international company in the oil industry for several years and in that role I mentored junior colleagues from many different countries and cultures. For the last year in that job, I volunteered in a 'lunch and learn' programme for teaching English as a second language at intermediate level to colleagues from all around the world

Interesses: I love to travel, and also enjoy learning about history. In the 2 years I have worked with Cambly, I have met many fabulous students from all over of the world, even Tibet! I have travelled extensively through Europe and I now live in France. I have also visited Turkey, the U.S, Canada, Dominican Republic, and Thailand. I have learned so much about different cultures and history of countries from my students.
I'm a huge movie fan, and I especially love talking about anything film related . I have many favourite films (my current favourite is "Amelie"), and it’s great to get a film recommendation from a student.
I am a geoscientist so I also like talking about geology.
