I have worked for many years in various Government departments including HM Immigration Service, HM Prison Service and education. I have met many people from all walks of life and have enjoyed every minute of it.

Esperienza di insegnamento: I have worked for the Immigration Service, Prison Service, Magistrates' Courts, Education and Health Service. I have met many people from a diverse range of backgrounds. Over the years I have taught music, supported dyslexic students (and learned some great techniques for learning difficult combinations of letters) and even taught Sunday School! Last year I went to Spain to help professional Spaniards to learn colloquial English, phrasal verbs and idioms which was great fun!

Interessi: I love music and play the piano. I am a voracious reader and write short stories myself. I have published two series of children's books and some poetry too. I've always lived by the sea and my favourite thing to do is to have an ice cream on the pier. Currently I am looking after three Skinny Pigs (Guinea Pigs without fur) and they are the cutest animals ever! My indulgences include baking very unhealthy cakes and puddings (usually involving plenty of chocolate!)

I attended an all-girls Grammar School for six years followed by a college course in Business Studies. During my career I have gained certification in Additional Educational Needs, music, writing for ministers and a variety of other subjects.
