Professione: Student Teacher

Esperienza di insegnamento: I have over five years of experience working with children through student teaching, babysitting, and volunteering. I have student taught in pre-kindergarten, first grade, and fourth grade. Through those internships, I planned and taught lessons in reading, math, science, and social studies. I differentiated instruction for the individual needs of the students in my classroom, and engaged students in creative, hands-on learning experiences as much as possible..

Interessi: Hello! I'm Monica. My interests include spending time outside, travelling, doing crafts, photography, reading, and cooking/baking. I also enjoy learning about other cultures and languages. Currently, I am learning Spanish. In addition to Spanish, I took French class for four years in high school, and I have studied American Sign Language on my own.

Istruzione: I have a bachelor's degree in early childhood education and elementary education from Frostburg State University. I am certified to teach children from pre-kindergarten through sixth grade in the state of Maryland.
