Profession: I am currently an ESL teacher living in Vietnam with almost 4 years of experience teaching all ages and levels.
Teaching Experience: Over the past 4 years, I have taught English as a second language to a number students of all ages, and from various countries including Somalia, Ivory Coast, Democratic Republic of Congo, China, Korea, Japan and Vietnam.
The majority of my teaching has been in Asia teaching both Japanese and Vietnamese children and adults, as well as having completed a number of contracts teaching business English and hospitality English for 5-star resorts and hotels.
Interests: My interests include doing exercise, travelling, watching sport, cooking, watching films, listening to music, animals (especially dogs) and I LOVE ENGLISH and learning other languages!! :)
I believe learning English should be in a fun, safe and friendly environment and with students who can be guided through the challenge of learning a new language. I also believe that giving 100% support to students while learning is vital in achieving the best results!
Education: I completed my first year BA postgraduate degree in English, Psychology, Drama and Anthropology at Wits University after which I did an additional year of Marketing Communication at the University of Johannesburg.
I also completed my CELTA certification with an above-average Pass B distinction.
