Profession: ESL Teacher
Teaching Experience: I spent a year in Bali, Indonesia teaching ESL to studernts both online and in class. I then made the move to Taiwan where I taught for 7 years. I worked mainly with beginners to intermediate, assisting with phonics, grammar, reading and writing. Additionally I helped students prepare for Cambridge exams as well as running summer camps, such as my science based Harry Potter summer camp.
Interests: My biggest love is nature. Wherever possible I get myself out of the city and into nature. In Taiwan I would spend my weekends hiking mountains and exploring waterfalls and rivers.
Travel is a huge interest, I love to get on a plane to a new destination and set out with minimal plans to see where the adventure takes me.
I really love to cook, I am from a family of chefs. I particularly love to talk about dishes cooked in other countries.
Other passions are drawing, dancing and helping people.
Education: I studied Sociology at Nottingham Trent University in the UK, I then did a TEFL course to prepare me for teaching abroad.
Spoken Languages: English (Native)
