Profession: HR Professional, Currently in Grad School
Teaching Experience: At the University of Virginia, I was a VISAS (Volunteers with International Students, Staff, and Scholars) language consultant for two years. VISAS was a fun way for me to meet and engage with international students. As a language consultant in the program, each semester I would get paired with an international student, faculty or other member of the university community as their conversation partner, to help them practice their English speaking skills and learn more about American culture.
Interests: In my spare time I like to do a variety of activities such as reading, cooking, catching up on TV shows and movies on Netflix, and practicing my photography and editing skills. I also like to catch up with friends over lunch or dinner or exploring the city. There are major soccer fans in my family so I try to keep up with that as well!
Education: I went to the University of Virginia, where I received a BA in Anthropology and Sociology. I am currently enrolled in a MSc in Business and Management online program through the University of Essex
Spoken Languages: English (Native)
