Beruf: Special Education Teacher

Lehrerfahrung: I worked as a teaching assistant in the department of Musicology at the University of Wisconsin for 3 semesters from 2012-2014. Since I graduated, I have worked for about 3 years with the Madison Metro School District providing educational services (including translation, some teaching, and cultural mediation) for students who speak different languages, especially Mandinka. I am currently getting my teaching license, and have gone through three student teaching placements.

Interessen: Music - I play accordion and percussion and I sing.
Food- I love to cook and have professional experience in restaurants and coffee bars.
Martial Arts- I have played capoeira for over 14 years
Travel- I love to go to new places, experience new things, and meet people.

Ausbildung: Truman State University - BA in Music Composition
UW-Madison - MA in Ethnomusicology
UW-Madison - Currently in a teacher training program to receive dual licensure in regular ed and special ed, grades 1-8
