Henry Herbert

Profession: Permaculture Designer

Teaching Experience: My first introduction to the world of teaching was in Africa in the beginning of last year, when I worked in two schools: one in Zambia and the other in Tanzania. Both schools were catered for underprivileged local children, and I would help out in and outside the classroom. This experience lead me to take my TESOL qualification in November with St Georges International (Trinity College), where I took a one month intensive course and was teaching real students of varying ability every other day.

Interests: My interests include hiking, camping and walking in the mountains. I also love gardening and working in the outdoors. Aside from that, I enjoy cooking, baking, reading and experimenting with making my own products like bread and soap! I am a creative person who loves to learn new things as well as teach them to others.

Education: I did my bachelors at University of Nottingham, UK, where I got a 1st class degree in Psychology and Philosophy. I then went on to do my cerTESOL qualification last year.

Spoken Languages: English (Native)
