Profession: Environmental Management and Conservation
Expérience d'enseignement: I was a Peace Corps volunteer for two years in Western Africa. While there, I taught introductory English for a year to elementary school, middle school, and high school aged students.
I was also a reading and English tutor for a year to elementary and middle school immigrant students in North Carolina that were learning English as a second language.
Intérêts: Music--I particularly enjoy classic rock, blues, and motown music. I also enjoy all styles of latino music, from salsa to bachata to reggaeton, and I keep up to date with popular American music as well.
I also love traveling. I've been to various countries throughout Latin America, Europe, and Africa. Asia is next on my list. I enjoy exploring new natural environments, as well as meeting new people and cultures.
Books/Movies-I particularly enjoy fantasy, science fiction, and comedies.
Éducation: I have a Master's degree in Environmental Management from Duke University and an undergraduate degree in Biology and French from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
