Beruf: Economist, English Tutor

Lehrerfahrung: I have 2 years experience an an English tutor and trainer. As an international consultant I have provided training to colleagues who speak English as a second language in communication skills and producing work in English, both to groups and 1-on-1.

I have taught English in school in Bolivia, and online to children and adults. Through learning a language myself, am well acquainted with different methods for eliciting the best response from students. As I enjoy interacting with people and helping them reach their potential, teaching, especially to people form other cultures, is something that has always appealed to me.

Interessen: I'm a sociable person and enjoy getting out and enjoying the culture and landscapes Mexico (where I live) has to offer; I love travelling and discovering a new place, especially from a hammock!

I am a keen runner, and regularly run round the local parks, both to keep fit and simply for the air and the invigoration. I enjoy watching many other sports, particularly football, I'm a Chelsea fan and also go for a kickabout from time to time.

Music is a passion of mine, in particular live music, mostly rock, but also some electronic, and I regularly go to concerts here in Bogota, where the scene is vibrant. I've also been attempting to learn salsa, but that is still very much a work in progress...

An an economist who previously worked in government and abroad, I have a strong interest in international politics and development and enjoy conversing about current affairs, particularly learning from people local to a place.

When not out about, nothing beats a good steak, red wine, and a good movie!
