Cambly was created in San Francisco, California by a team of people who wanted a better way to learn languages.
I had my first French class in kindergarden, but I didn't visit France until after college. I learned a ton while immersed in the language, and I'm excited to recreate that experience with Cambly.
Before Cambly I worked at Google on Image Search, Mobile Maps, and Street View and then at an early stage startup called blip.me. I graduated from Boston University with a degree in Computer Science and Math.
I studied Spanish in middle school and high school but it wasn't until I spent some time in Argentina a few years ago that I really started to get the hang of speaking the language. I wanted to recreate that experience at home.
Prior to Cambly, I worked at Google as an engineer on the Search Quality team and then at an early stage startup called blip.me. I have an M.S. in Computer Science from Stanford University and a B.S.E. in Electrical Engineering from Princeton University.
Cambly is powered by a community of friendly English tutors around the globe who love meeting new people and helping them learn. Read about some of the Cambly tutors below, and join Cambly to meet the rest of the tutor community.
